RE: [council] Outstanding Webcasting Bills

As discussed on at the last NC meeting, the business plan issue should be
the first on the agenda of the next NC call. Likewise as I mentioned at that
meeting, it's my sense that while it is technically in WG-D, it would be
better to take it out of that working group (which is still dealing with
these procedure issues), and have the NC decide how to move on the business
plan.

My own suggestion is that the NC establish a very small group (one that
understands business plans), and puts forward a proposal for cost, etc. of
running the DNSO structure (ie websites, mailing lists, etc), as well as
webcasting. This proposal would then be posted for DNSO comments, then
reviewed by the NC.

Would be interested in hearing other thoughts.

Just wanted to remind you all that you owe the Berkman Center $1200 for
webcasting services for the June and July teleconferences, as follows:

6/25, 5:30-9:30PM: 4 hours, outside the business day, $800
7/12, 9:30-11:30AM: 2 hours, $200
7/26, 9:30-11:30AM: 2 hours, $200

(These fees are as agreed following my 6/23 email. Note that there's an
additional charge for Berkman's webcasting and facilitation of remote
participation at the Santiago GA and NC sessions. However, since ICANN is
"floating" those costs, you'll hear directly from Andrew re the amount the
DNSO owes ICANN for those services.)

A check payable to the Berkman Center for Internet and Society should be
sent to my attention at

1563 Massachusetts Avenue
Room P511
Cambridge, MA 02138

I do understand that the DNSO is not currently in a position to pay this and
other bills, but before I webcast the teleconference on the 15th, I will
need at least a best-guess estimate of when you will be able to pay.
