[agenda] "dot com dot" problem

To whom it may concern,

I have a website located at http://venturewatchonline.com

The site officially launched today, Monday April 2nd 2001. A press release
went out on PR Newswire introducing my site. I received a note from a reader
that cut & pasted the URL from the press release, which was at the end of a
sentence and included a period. If you go to http://venturewatchonline.com.
(cut & paste using the period at the end), you are taken to another site
called WilsonSolutions...

I have never heard of, or seen anything like this before! It sounded like
some kind of problem and wanted to get your thoughts on how this could
happen? I have copied the folks at Wilson Solutions to make them aware of
this issue.

I would be interested in hearing any info, or on what you discover regarding
this issue.
